The 2024 Sportsbet Dream Chasers Festival will again kick off with the Sportsbet Topgun Sprint and Topgun Stayers Invitational Races. This is the chance watch Australia’s best hand-picked chasers battle it out. In addition, making it a treble of Group 1s, ‘The Meadows’ very own Hume Cup will also light up the track.

Start your Sportsbet Dream Chasers Festival attendance with the best night of hospitality the ‘Melbourne Greyhounds’ can offer. There are a number of exciting ways you can be part of this top night of entertainment and witness three massive Group 1 races, that will fly around the track. This year’s Sportsbet Topgun will appeal to both families and those who love top-class dining. Trackside, ‘The Meadows’ will bring the Dream Chasers Festival element to life with roving entertainment and kids activities. While in the main building, top-flight dining will be on the menu. Enjoy three big Group 1 races from the best seats in the house. The Temlee Dining Room at ‘TheMeadows’ offers unparalleled track and city skyline views, grandstand seating access and race broadcast screens, all in a modern dining room setting.
Dining Packages include a seated City View Bistro inspired dinner service (with or without beverages) starting from $80 per person. It’s the perfect on-course opportunity to DINE, CHEER & PARTY the night away in top-class style.
The Club Shout
The Melbourne Greyhounds and Sportsbet have partnered to give local sporting Clubs the chance to win thousands of dollars, as well as to dine, cheer and party at ‘The Meadows’ on Topgun night.
The ‘Club Shout’ will be held on The Terrace (just near the winning post), topped with marquees, tables and bars for all to enjoy - and opposite the big race screen. This invite only event requires Clubs to register their interest and commit a minimum of 10 guests to attend and dress in their local Club colours. Attending Clubs will receive a $1000 donation plus a chance to win more funds every race. We’ll also provide roving canapes and a free drink to each guest to get the party started. Another option is to take Bus 902 to the Northcorp Bvd/Camp Rd stop, and it's only a short, convenient stroll to reach The Meadows Racetrack.
