Return Of The ‘Queen’
Wow Shes Fast is on her way back!
Wow… She’s on the way back!
And in a shock development, it’s likely to be in the Group 1 Sportsbet Topgun (525m) at The Meadows on November 11. “Team Greenough” (Jackie and Kel) are once again ‘Dream Chasing’ with Wow She’s Fast after accepting today for the $150,000 to-the-winner invitational event.

The ‘wonder woman’ would be seeking redemption in the Topgun after finishing a desperately unlucky eighth in last year’s race.
Wow She’s Fast is the world’s highest earning greyhound and dual The Phoenix winner.
Can the ‘Queen of Australian greyhound racing’ reprise her reign?
Meanwhile, in an interview with Andrew Bensley on RSN’s ‘Early Mail’ on Thursday, co-trainer Kel Greenough informed “she’s coming along really well”.
“I don’t think I’m going to have any dramas unless I have a setback.”
“I actually gave her a hit-out yesterday (Wednesday) and she went enormous. I couldn’t have been happier with her trial.
“She’s probably a few weeks off racing but she’s getting closer and the fact she’s running fast times in trials tells me we’re going to get there.
“I took her down to Warragul and the track was fairly average because they rotary hoed it the week before and then we had a bit of drizzle.
“She ran probably a fairly quick time considering the whole conditions and I would have equated it very close to her best.”

When asked by Bensley “if the timing was running out a little bit with the Melbourne Cup”, Greenough responded: “I reckon we’ll get there. I don’t think I’m going to have any dramas unless I have a setback. But at this point, we’ll be in the Melbourne Cup.”
Wow She’s Fast, who has amassed a world record $2,389,955 in prizemoney, hasn’t raced since tailing off in the Group 1 Sapphire Crown final at Sandown Park on May 18.
A triple G1 winner and winner of 20 races from 32 starts, Wow She’s Fast suffered a hock injury in her quest to secure back-to-back Sapphire Crowns.
