The Competition

Sandown Greyhound Racing Club will be hosting the 2024 Melbourne Cup Heats - the prelude to one of Australia’s richest greyhound races featuring some of the country’s best greyhounds competing for
title of ‘Melbourne Cup’. The Melbourne Cup Heats take place annually at Sandown Park in View Road,
Springvale. This year it takes place on 23 November 2024.

To celebrate this race event, Sandown Greyhound Racing Club also hosts on a free entry event featuring
entertainment.

The event will be held on 23 November 2024 at Sandown Park. It is open to anyone who would like to
attend. Entry is free. Entertainment is provided. Food and drink are available for purchase by patrons
at their own cost. A limited number of dining packages are also available for purchase.

All patrons (except those excluded in Entry conditions) are given the opportunity to enter the ‘Spinning
Wheel’ competition. Entry is free. Patrons are given a QR Code or link to enter as they enter Sandown
Park on 23 November 2024.

Patrons then scan the QR Code and enter their details. One entry per person allowed. Entries close at
the start of Race 5.
Following the conclusion of Race 6, one ticket will be randomly drawn. That ticket owner will be given
the opportunity to spin the ‘Spinning Wheel’ which contains numerous cash prizes including $25,000.
This process will be repeated 4 times on the night – after Races 6, 7, 8 and 9.

There are four $25,000 prizes on offer. If one ticket owner spins the wheel and wins $25,000 then we
replace it with another $25,000. In other words, each of the four ticket owners could win $25,000.
Each winner is entitled to spin the wheel once. The spinner wins whatever prize the wheel lands on.

Any sum of money over $1000 will be deposited into the winners account via EFT.

The winners will need to agree to have their name published as part of the VGCCC regulations.

The spin will be recorded for regulatory purposes.

Entry Conditions

1. Open to all Australian residents except Directors, Officers, Management and Employees and their immediate families of the Sandown Greyhound Racing Club, Greyhound Racing Victoria, Sportsbet employees or associates or of the agencies or companies of the Sandown Greyhound Racing Club associated with this competition.

1.1. Immediate family members include spouse or former spouse, de facto partner or former de facto partner, child, parent, grandparent, grandchild or sibling of an employee, or a child, parent, grandparent, grandchild or sibling of an employee’s spouse or de facto partner. It includes step-relations (e.g. stepparents and stepchildren) as well as adopted relations.

1.2. Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over.

2. The winner must be on-course (Sandown Park) to enter the competition. This means that if their name is drawn out (and they become eligible to spin the wheel), they must be physically present at Sandown Park on 23 November 2024 to spin the wheel. No proxy allowed.

3. Participants must remain on course to participate in the winning draw.

How To Enter

Sandown Greyhound Racing Club will be hosting the Melbourne Cup Heats race meeting to held on 23
November 2024 at Sandown Park.

Entry is free.

All patrons (except those excluded in Entry conditions) are given the opportunity to enter the Spinning Wheel competition. Entry is free. Patrons are given a QR Code or link to enter as they enter Sandown Park on 23 November 2024.

Patrons then scan the QR Code and enter their details. One entry per person allowed. Entries close at the start of Race 5.

Entry Time Period

• Start: 5:30pm (AEST) on 23/11/2024
• End: Start of Race 5

Proof Of Entry

The four ticket holders must produce proof of identity.

Entry Limits

Patrons may only enter only once.

Winner Notification

Winner(s) will be notified over the loudspeaker at Sandown Park during the night and by phone call and in writing by text message.

The 4 winners will have 15 minutes to make their way to the Sportsbet marquee and make
themselves known..

Important Note
If the owner of winning ticket fails to attend the Sportsbet marquee within 15 minutes of the winning ticket announcement, another ticket will be drawn out of the barrel and the previous ticket owner will not be eligible in respect of any claim made in relation to the winning ticket.

Terms For Claiming Prize

1. Any prize including monitory is non-transferable.

2. Sandown Greyhound Racing Club may require winners to provide proof of iden,ty, proof of age and proof of residency. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the Sandown Greyhound Racing Club’s discretion.

3. Sandown Greyhound Racing Club may communicate or advertise this competition using social media. However, the competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with these social media entities.

4. If for any reason any aspect of this competition is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, fire, flood, war, health or medical emergency, national or international pandemic or epidemic, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Sandown Greyhound Racing Club, the ‘Club’ may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, or invalidate any affected entries, subject to the approval of the relevant gaming authorities if required.

5. All entries will be shredded.

greyhounds are competing in the Melbourne Cup race.

The winner of the Melbourne Cup ticket owner is then given the opportunity to spin the ‘Sportsbet
Million Dollar Spinning Wheel’ which contains numerous cash prizes including $1million.
